Getting Started 4/13/201
After getting the soil ready we started out by planting 2 kind of onions...Also added stepping stones to separate our "onion patch". Hoping for another sunny day so we can get more planted. Lots of hard work will go into this garden but I LOVE it!
We started our garden on april 16, 2011 this year. Matt and I worked most of the day. He turned over all the soil and we added extra compost, and did alot of raking. We had a couple of onions and garlic that were growing from last year! We tried not to disturb them. This photo shows the garden just before planting anything new.
